The company:
The Villa Pontina working farm, managed by the Pontecorvi family for four generations, is in the Latina area, in southern Latium. At the foot of the Lepini Mountains, it dominates the Agro Pontino valley toward the sea. The farm which has always cultivated olive trees, was reclaimed around 1950, and today it has more than 1,400 olive trees. The rocky land characterized by a high level of limestone, the close proximity to the sea and the temperate Mediterranean climate, makes it the ideal place to grow the Native Itrana olive tree. Vegetables are also grown on the farm.
The rustic cottage that at the beginning of 1900’s served as a refuge from the bad weather for way farers, has now been turned into an exclusive agri-tourism destination.
The company produces:
