The Company:
The “Castragalli” farm is located a few kilometers from Rome, and has been run by the Volpicelli family for four generations. It produces and exports the Segnino’s Chestnut and extra virgin Olive. The company’s focuses on the transformation, the conservation and the packaging processes of olive oil production and is based on the best principles which guarantee an excellent product.
The olive trees are harvested in upper area of the working farm, which allows the olive oil to become more fruity. The olives are ground via the traditional method of the olive press. The cold press is obtained by using of ancient stone grinding presses.
The company produces:
- Extra virgin olive oil;
- Spreads and patés made with olives and extra virgin olive oil and several types of vegetables;
- The Segni’s Chestnut.
